Applying the act of maintenance to two objects, a chair and stool that require repair.

Using a fabric ‘bandage’ to apply an appendage to these surfaces to highlight the aspect of the object that required attention.

 

Identifying these surfaces as physical wounds the bandage is administered to cover, heal and support the wound.

 

Likening the acts that we would administer to our bodies to the objects that we are surrounded by within our homes.
